We returned to the African continent in April 2025, following our first Goals House in Kigali, Rwanda for CHOGM 2022. Goals House made its Nairobi debut with the first-ever Goals Night Out, held in partnership with Community Jameel during CGIAR Science Week. Hosted at Afrika House, a dynamic creative hub designed with the look and feel of Goals House in mind, the evening convened a rich diversity of youth activists and leaders in research, policy, and development for a night of meaningful conversation, live music, and a curated meal by Khaled Allibhai, executive chef of farm-to-fork restaurant Cultiva. Notable guests included George Richards, Director, Community Jameel; Professor Ismahane Elouafi, Executive Managing Director, CGIAR; Professor Appolinaire Djikeng, Director General, ILRI; Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, Former President of Mauritius; Faith Nkatha Gitonga, Country Director, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change; Andy Jarvis, Director of Future of Food, Bezos Earth Fund; Joseph Ssentongo, CEO, Global Innovation Fund; and Mukami Mitugo, Earthshot Finalist.
